Care:  Keep your jewelry stored in its jewelry box or another air-tight container when not being worn. This keeps out moisture, air pollutants, and prevents scratching against other surfaces. To avoid potentially snagging your clothes, put your jewels on last when getting ready. Do your best to avoid contact with chemicals while wearing your jewelry. Hand sanitizers which have a high alcohol content are especially damaging.
